Forget the age old mouse traps which you used them to catch the rats. But a UK pest control firm Rentokil invented a Rat Trap which notifies its users via SMS when a rat is caught in the trap.

 
As soon as the rat is trapped, the weight sensors shuts the trap door and a message is sent to the owner. The death is given by the carbon monoxide from a capsule inside the trap.
