A whole load of cargo container carrying Black DS Lites are reported to be missing. It was heading towards Europe from China via Hong Kong, where the incident took place. The expected loss to Nintendo is around $18 million Hong Kong Dollars (US$2.32 million). The Hong Kong police has also announced a reward of HKD$1 million (US$128,831) for tipping them off.

The Black edition of DS Lite will be launching on June 23 in Europe and with this heist taking place, there can be deficit in the availability.
