The Korean giant has announced that they will stop selling consumer electronics items in Japan because they are finding it difficult to compete with local rivals like Panasonic, Sony and Sharp. Now this is a surprising move but a practical one too as they were seeing a regular decline in profits. However, the B2B sales wouldn’t be affected by this move.

Japs acceptance to foreign brands has been always been more on the negative side because they tend to support local companies more. But analysts are of the opinion that the company’s exit was because they faced serious marketing and brand challenges despite the quality of its products.
