SMS2.0

Remember SMS2.0? A Series 60 application which plasters contextual ads while you type a SMS. Well it is finally out of pilot testing and is available for download to Airtel subscribers. Users can type SMS2 and send it to 543210 (India only) and they won’t be charged a single penny. After all, its a bait to download the application.

And yea, in a Nokia dominated country, SMS2.0 supports Symbian only but unfortunately not v3. For more details click here.

  1. I have used this for over a month and find it quite cool. I like the cool interface, esp the part of the emoticons. Being a bollywood and cricket junkie i quite like the stuff they are integrating with SMS2.0. Thumbs up to this. Am sure this would end up being one of the popular apps :)
