Sony outs a new line of energy efficient Bravia LCD TVs. The first of the 32-inch model KDL-32JE1 from the JE1 series consumes just 86kWh/year which makes it energy efficient at 232%, enough to best Japan’s recommended 164%. The greener environment act doesn’t end here. Sony also announced to use flame-retardant plastic materials and recycled parts in this latest line. It will start selling from July 30 at a price tag of $1397.
