We knew Samsung’s 1.8-inch SpinPoint N2 drives were small enough to sneak easily into gadgets but selling these drives as external and measuring not more than credit cards is extraordinary. These USB powered drives are being sold in China (maybe even in Korea and Japan) in its signature glossy piano black finish. Looks are the only thing you’re paying for because the specs aren’t interesting with 4200 RPM and a read/write rate of 27/23MB per second. There are different storage options available but the 120GB variant is selling for around $290.
