Fujifilm camera wants to give boring 2D photos a 3D effect

Fujifilm Japan has claimed a world’s first by creating a digital camera capable of converting a regular picture to a 3D image on the go. The camera, Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D System is still in its prototype stage and is expected to be commercially available somewhere in next year. The camera actually has two lenses which on pressing the shutter button converts the image to 3D with the help of a 3D sheet.
Fujifilm also plans to launch a special photo printing service and 3D digital frames to promote the camera.
