ZTE Corporation from China has created a high-end TD-SCDMA phone to please the locals. U990 with HSDPA functionality will make its presence felt in the TD-SCDMA China. Company claims that its phone can achieve about 2.8Mpbs of download and 384Kbps of upload speeds.

U990 is also ZTE’s first foray into the Windows Mobile territory which runs on Windows Mobile 6, has a touch screen display, aGPS and is EDGE compatible.
