Samsung has added one more feather to the pricing craziness going in India after the price revelation of iPhone 3G. Agreed that this is Samsung’s first 8-megapixel phone coming to India with a 16GB memory card bundle, Symbian Series 60 OS with Feature Pack 2 but asking Rs. 46,000 ($987) for a phone is too much…way too much.

Other features it packs are aGPS, two pre-loaded Aamir Khan movies, games like Asphalt and FIFA 08, DivX playback and DNSe 2.0 handling the audio department. There’s also Wi-Fi and HSDPA support for internet.
