Security advances with Quantum Cryptography, said to be unbreakable

A computer network was recently hooked up by researchers equipped with a new security system dubbed as Quantum Cryptography. The QC basically uses the quantum theory with the security schemes based on Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. In this principle, one cannot measure or obtain the information without disturbing it.
In other words, when a hacker tries to break in to the network, the information gets scrambled and also leaves a mark of his eavesdropping activity. According to BBC, who were present at the demonstration said: “when an intruder did try to listen in on the quantum exchange, photons became scrambled, and a rise in the error rate at the node detectors signaled the attack. The system automatically shut down without being compromised.”
However, BBC points out that the system is breakable if the hacker has enough power resources to compute complex mathematical procedures.
