I have a digital camera from Kodak which lacks connectivity other than a button to Share my favorite images. Most mobile phones come with Bluetooth but Wi-Fi is still away from most of them. And now Eye-Film has developed a SD card which integrates Wi-Fi. The Eye-Fi card will come in 1GB capacity and sell at the same price of other normal 1GB SD cards.

This card will enable you to transfer music, images directly from your PC to the card at a speed of 54 MBps.

[...] World’s first Wi-Fi enabled SD card is now available in BETA. So what does BETA imply here? Well, you have to pay $99 and you get a 512MB SD card, Beta software for PC/Mac, online transfer facility, online support, a free upgrade to 1GB when it gets released and of course, a small gift for the pains you take being a beta tester. It supports 802.11b/g networks and works with most gadgets except the smartphones. [...]
