Asus Eee’s competitors please stand up

When Asus thought of launching a small size sub-notebook, no one would have imagined that it will take the world by storm. And by the time this storm fades away, other companies want to cash in with the available opportunity. Pictured above is Dell’s offering, the Mini Inspiron. It is rumored to be equipped with an 8.9-inch screen, webcam, 3 USB ports, VGA out and 8-in-1 card reader.

Next is the Acer’s ultra-portable Aspire One which is again at 8.9-inch screen and a sub $500 price tag.
