Asus’s onslaught of Eee range continues. This time they unveiled a high end S101 Eee netbook in Taiwan. But reportedly the Eee tag will be stripped from it when it goes to retail this September. The 10.2-inch snobby netbook is equipped with an Atom processor, LED backlit screen and comes in interestingly thin profile of around 16-21mm. This portable will sport only SSDs and thus we have a high price. The basic model will come with 32GB SSD making it to cost $700 and an upgrade to 64GB SSD will want you to shell out 200 bucks more.
How much Eee is too much Eee? I guess, only Asus can tell but yea they firmly believe in the adage, ‘Strike the hammer while the iron is hot’.
