Can HTC show less interest in Windows Mobile and develop more phones for Android? No says John Wang, CMO of High Tech Computer (HTC) because both are complementary. He goes on to say that both the platforms can co-exist because of their separate ecosystems. While Windows Mobile gives high performance, interoperability and a large library of applications, Android on the other hand gives handset manufacturing companies and developers more freedom and flexibility.

HTC doesn’t want to put all the eggs in one basket and will continue developing for both the platforms with a preference of WinMo over Android.
