AMD unveils two pocket friendly ATI Graphics Cards


AMD is turning out to be a messiah for cheap gamers. They have rolled out ATI Radeon HD 4550 and HD 4350 graphics card which is light on pocket and has a performance comparable to a high-end graphics card. Both the cards are built on the same technology as HD 4800 Series and integrate support for DirectX 10.1 and HD multimedia capabilities like 7.1 channel surround audio via HDMI, 7.1 channel surround audio via DisplayPort, cable-free HDMI and enhanced DVD Upscale.
HD 4550 has a 512MB DDR3 memory and will sell for $55 whereas its smaller sibling HD 4350 has 256MB of DDR2 memory and will retail for $39. Both the cards will be available from this month.
