Motorola announces super expensive Aura phone

Now this is definitely something new from Motorola’s stable. Presenting Aura which Motorola claims to be inspired by luxury watches and handcrafted design. Aura is not a phone packed with features but the use of components and style factor make it high-end.
The swiveling Aura has a round screen which is the world’s first with 1.55-inch in diameter, 16 million colors and 300dpi resolution. The phone has got more than 700 components and uses high-class materials like the Swiss-made main bearing and custom engineering rotating mechanism with 130 precision ball bearings to handle the swivel smoothly, scratch resistant 62 Carat sapphire crystals and PVD coating for giving it a mirrored finish.
On the specifications front, Aura supports quad-band GSM networks, EDGE and features a 2 megapixel camera, music player, Bluetooth with A2DP, 2GB onboard memory and a microSD slot. The phone is set to launch by the end of the year for $2000 which in reality qualifies itself to be just a common man’s dream.
